Model and Lingerie
I found and hired Ashley using Model Mayhem. We worked out a price and timeframe that would work; then, I sorted out a location. Hotel suites suit my style well, as they usually have big windows, and are clean-cut and modern. Lingerie for this shoot contained a couple of items: First, was a sheer white teddy purchased on Amazon. Here is the link. The black lace crop top and high-waisted panties were purchased cheaply from Ebay; Ashley creatively put the top on backwards, making it high neck. The black mesh and lace teddy was an item a few years ago from Victoria’s Secret. A few other selections were provided by Ashley.
Setup and Shooting
For this session, I used both digital and film. I’m limiting the shots in this post to the digital photos. The Nikon D610 is my digital workhorse, and I often pair it with either the Nikon 50mm f/1.8D, 85mm f/1.8G, or 35mm f/2D. If you’re unfamiliar, these are all great, but inexpensive lenses.
After the Shoot
We ran out of daylight toward the end of the session, so we improvised a bit with hotel lighting (lamps). This led to a fair bit of white balance correction in Lightroom.
